Arcosia

The Arcosia-Serie combines an anodized magnesium membrane with a specially developed olefin film. The perforated structure creates microscopic domes that regulate partial vibrations and stabilize decay characteristics.

This is evident in a smooth frequency response and controlled radiation pattern across the entire midrange. The first critical membrane resonance lies outside the primary operating range and is actively damped.

The symmetrically designed ferrite magnet system delivers stable force distribution across the linear stroke range. Targeted ventilation of the drive system reduces thermal compression at higher volume levels and supports consistent dynamic performance.

The membrane technology and drive architecture utilized are based on a design also used in automotive applications, where it meets stringent long-term and temperature requirements.

Arcosia stands for precision-engineered mechanics, durable construction, and predictable integration into premium loudspeaker designs.

The Arcosia series is based on a design developed and tested for automotive applications. Its mechanical and thermal load-bearing capacity has been verified via standardized environmental and durability tests.

This includes the following tests, for example:

• High and low temperature storage: –40 °C to +80 °C
• Vibration resistance, tested in accordance with ISO 16750-3 and DIN EN 60068
• Wet environment testing for corrosion and sealing resistance

and many more.

Results

The structural integrity, impedance behavior, and mechanical stability remain within defined tolerances.

The series is designed for long-term exposure to changing environmental conditions.
