Above resonance, the driver behaves electrically stable: The impedance rises moderately toward high frequencies due to the voice coil inductance – an expected value for a 12" woofer with a 62-mm voice coil that does not complicate crossover design in 3-way systems. The 8-ohm design allows easy driving with common hi-fi amplifiers and professional power amplifiers.
